Brew Chat

Monday mornings are always a switch for me, I either love them or I hate them, today I love Monday. I made a french press coffee, watched a couple of YouTube vlogs I keep up with, and wrote out a few cards to send to some friends.

Today I want to chat about the lost art of sending someone a card in the mail. I think the only time people send cards now is at Christmas time, why not send one to someone randomly? One thing my Nana showed me in life is the act of sending a card to someone. Make sure you stay connected with someone no matter where they are in the world and they may not have the technology to communicate.

Why have people stopped? Is it the fact we text and email and use social media messaging all the time that we have forgotten how to use the mail? I love sending small cards hoping to cheer someone up or to thank someone for just being the fantastic human they are. I want to see people start bringing this back, I bet if you send someone a random card for a random reason I bet you will get a call to a text saying how it made them smile.

What more do we need on a random Thursday more than a random smile in the times we are currently living? Share a smile with someone and send a friend a card! Happy Monday!

Small town gentleman, fulled by coffee, a great thriller book, and a ton of anxiety.
